Mobil Delvac Synthetic lubricants mean longer life for your engine and your equipment.
Mobil Delvac synthetic lubricants maintain viscosity in extreme operating temperature ranges to help your engine and equipment run at peak performance.

Cutting-Edge Technology Conquers the Toughest Challenges
It takes the state-of-the-art synthetic lubricants to protect today's advanced engines and drivetrains. Some of the challenges facing fleet operators are:
Fortunately, Mobil Delvac synthetic lubricants are:

Higher torque and operating temperatures
Increased loads
Longer drains
Temperature extremes
Oxidation and deposit protection
Constrained sump capacity

designed to provide uncompromised performance, even under some of the most punishing circumstances.

Following are some of the key measures that determine a lubricant's performance and the benefits of using Mobil Delvac synthetic lubricants:

Performance Measure:
Low Temperature Flow
Mobil Delvac Synthetic Lubricant Benefit:
Pour point is a measure of a lubricant's ability to flow at low temperatures. Mobil Delvac synthetic lubricants are engineered to reduce internal friction which results
in outstanding flow in low temperature conditions. As a result, components are lubricated more effectively, especially during a cold start-up when a significant
portion of component wear takes place.

Performance Measure:
Viscosity Stability
Mobil Delvac Synthetic Lubricant Benefit:
Higher viscosity index translates to a more stable viscosity
across a broad operating temperature range. As well as
the superior low temperature performance, Mobil Delvac
synthetic lubricants resist thinning at elevated temperatures,
resulting in superior lubrication protection across a
greater operating temperature range as compared to
conventional mineral oil oils.

Performance Measure:
Oxidative/Thermal Stability
Mobil Delvac Synthetic Lubricant Benefit:
Improved oxidation stability and thermal stability in
Mobil Delvac synthetic lubricants is achieved through
molecular design control as opposed to refining
techniques. There is less viscosity increase with age
and better deposit control, leading to fewer oil changes,
lower labor costs, less downtime, lower disposal costs
and extended oil drain potential.

Performance Measure:
Wear Protection
Mobil Delvac Synthetic Lubricant Benefit:
Newer vehicles must be able to handle higher torque
and increased shock loads. Mobil Delvac synthetic drivetrain
lubricants provide superior anti-scoring performance
that helps increase gear life at high speeds and under
shock loading conditions as compared to conventional
mineral oils. Mobil Delvac 1 ESP also provides superior
tappet, camshaft and crosshead wear protection as
compared to conventional mineral oils.

Performance Measure:
Fuel Economy
Mobil Delvac Synthetic Lubricant Benefit:
When used in combination, Mobil Delvac 1 ESP, Mobil
Delvac Synthetic Gear Oils and Mobil Delvac Synthetic
Transmission Fluids have demonstrated fuel economy
advantages up to 3% versus conventional, mineral
lubricants. Mobil Delvac synthetic lubricants also offer
outstanding oxidation resistance, which ensures that
fuel economy benefits do not diminish as service
intervals are extended.
