ROYCO 1MS PROPERTIES
ROYCO 1MS is a blend of lubrication grade micro fine powdered molybdenum disulfide that conforms to Mil-M-7866, and technical grade petrolatum conforming to VV-P-236. Royco 1MS is non-abrasive, highly shear and stable.
Royco 1MS has a relatively low volatility compared to some thread compounds.
ROYCO 1MS is particularly suitable for use on aircraft engine spark plugs and threaded fasteners and fittings at temperatures below 800°F. At higher temperatures, ROYCO 44 should be used in lieu of ROYCO 1MS. Since this material is an electrical conductor, it is especially suited for anti-seize applications where the thread compound will not impede the flow of an electrical current.

ROYCO 1MS meets all requirements and is qualified to the current revision level of US MIL-SPEC: MIL-PRF-83483.
