SPECIFICATION, GRADE, TYPE, CLASS DESCRIPTION USES

This specification establishes the requirements for two types of air-cured solid film lubricant.

 

 

Lubricant, solid film, air-cured, corrosion inhibiting; MIL-L-23398, ty I: Bulk; and MIL-L-23398, ty II: Aerosol.

 

 

intended to reduce wear and prevent seizing, corrosion and galling, the lubricant can be applied by dipping, brushing or spraying.
